AI estimates

AI estimate from photos:
the quote goes out the same day

The visit takes forty minutes; the estimate takes the evening, and by then the customer has two other numbers. In WorkTime CRM you shoot the rooms, say what is being done, and the AI drafts the estimate line by line. You check it and send it before you leave the driveway.

How it works

Step by step

  1. 01

Shoot the job, room by room

Open Estimate Photos, pick the customer and shoot with the in-app camera โ€” a wide shot and close-ups. After each shot add a note, typed or dictated: "pantry floor 30 sq ft, demo cabinets". Photos and notes are saved on the customer.

  2. 02

    Let the AI price it

In the AI Estimator choose the photos from that customer's library. Their notes fill in the scope; press Analyze and the AI writes the lines with quantities and prices. No photos? A typed or dictated list of work is enough.

  3. 03

    Check what is missing

One button reads the estimate and lists what a complete job still needs โ€” the permit, haul-off, floor protection, waterproofing before tile, the final clean. Each is a checkbox; nothing is added until you tick it.

  4. 04

    Send it, get it signed

The customer opens a link, reads the estimate and signs on the phone. If you set a price guarantee, they see how many days it is good for.

Job photos are kept on the customer, with your notes โ€” the estimate is built from them

What you get

Your prices, not a guess

The estimate is priced from a catalog and from your own pricebook, for the state you pick. You can rebuild the pricebook for your trade and city, and every line stays editable.

Three options instead of one number

Tick a box and the same work is priced in three material grades โ€” Basic, Standard, Premium. The customer picks a card and signs that one.

You stay the estimator

The AI drafts; you decide. Nothing goes to a customer until you have read it, and a line it got wrong is one tap to fix.

It becomes the job

A signed estimate carries on into the project, the change orders and the invoices, on the same customer card.

FAQ

Questions contractors ask

How accurate is an estimate made from photos?

It is a draft built from what the photos and your notes show, priced from your pricebook. It does not measure a room for you โ€” put the sizes in your notes โ€” and you should read every line before sending. The better the notes, the less you correct.

Can I use it without photos?

Yes. Type or dictate a plain list of work and the AI prices that.

Where do the prices come from?

From the built-in catalog and from your own pricebook, adjusted for the state on the estimate. You can rebuild the pricebook for your market and change any price; your own prices are the ones used.

Does it work for my trade?

It is built for remodeling and home-service work: kitchens, baths, tile, flooring, painting, roofing, decks, drywall, plumbing and electrical lines, and more. If a line is missing you add it by hand and can save it to your pricebook.

Does it cost extra?

No. AI estimates are part of the one plan: first month free with a card on file, then $99 a month per company.
